Privacy

FCSIC collects no personally identifiable information (PII) which directly identifies you when you visit FCSIC.gov unless you give us that information directly. However, for security and analytics purposes, FCSIC does collect information about your Internet connection and usage of the website. When you use the FCSIC website, you are giving consent to the Government to monitor and audit your use of this system if it chooses and as necessary.

Website Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that many websites place on your web browser. Some websites use cookies to gather anonymous demographic information including what browser you use. Other websites use cookies to collect your personal data and other specific information.

Guidance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) outlines how Federal agencies can use web measurement and customization technologies. OMB requires agencies to be open and transparent about using these technologies.

FCSIC uses cookies and other web measurement and customization technologies to improve visitors’ experiences when using FCSIC.gov and for analyzing usage and areas for improvement. FCSIC.gov's cookies gather anonymous, summary demographic information and remember your browser when you visit our site again later. We do not collect personal information when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information.

Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies. Although using cookies creates a much better experience for you, FCSIC.gov will also work without them.

Block cookies in popular browsers

If you do not want to accept cookies, you can edit your browser’s settings in one of two ways:

You can change your browser's settings to prompt you before you accept cookies from websites you visit, or you can choose to set your browser to block cookies from websites you visit.

If you choose to set your browser to block cookies from a website you visit, this may adversely affect the website's functionality.

You can find instructions for blocking cookies in popular browsers via the links provided below:
